[Authentic] - Kelantan Dishes

Hi Guys!

I've just came back from Kelantan. By the way, but the 2-days vacation was way too short for me (sigh).

Kelantan is famous for its authentic dishes (some may say they are too sweet) that I simply can't resist! Since I have grabbed some, so enjoy!!


1. Laksam (Kelantanese use to know it as Lak-Sey)

Made of simple ingredients but the sauce that really matters ( I am not going to share the recipe here though).Yummy! The one I got was from the Pasir Mas main market (Pasar Mundok). 

2. K'oleh (this is how it's originally called)

This dessert can simply be recognized from its colour. Yes, it is blue. It's so soft that you'll be able to tell the sweetness, tenderness (and maybe a bit of taste of spice) right after the first bite.

I may now conclude this dish as 'unexpectedly delicious'.
